Roya Parviz is the founder and creative force behind Satori Designs. The philosophy of the company is "Global Fusion" inspired by travel, music, art, tradition and the dazzling colors and forms of nature. Satori Designs features an eclectic collection of women's clothing and accessories in collaboration with local and international designers. Roya launched her company in 1994 after receiving her Economics and Visual Arts BA from UC, San Diego, followed by an AA in Fashion Design from Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandizing in Los Angeles. Satori Designs has four retail locations in Southern California and is involved in numerous charity fashion shows and fundraising events.
